GTA 6 Gameplay Clip Airs on South Park: What It Shows

Three weeks before launch, GTA 6 gameplay showed up somewhere nobody expected: in South Park. The episode "Guinea Pig on a Stick", the fourth episode of season 29, aired on Comedy Central on October 28, 2026, and includes a short clip of real GTA 6 gameplay.

The footage is official: the end credits read "Grand Theft Auto VI footage courtesy of Rockstar Games". GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What the GTA 6 clip shows

The clip is short and played for laughs, South Park style. The characters watch it on screen and react to the "next-level graphics". We break it down in our video:

Here is what happens in the clip:

  • Jason on a crowded Vice City beach. Several reports say Lucia also appears in the scene.
  • A beachgoer's dog does its business in the sand, and the owner picks it up with a bag, as a responsible beachgoer should.
  • Jason messes with him. He throws something at the man's back, then grabs the bag and hits the NPC with it. The man gets angry, and Jason does it again.
  • The clip ends there. No mission, no new feature announcement.

It is crude, but it is also the most "GTA" thing Rockstar has shown in months: a random moment with a random person, the kind of chaos players create themselves.

What it tells us about GTA 6

Even a short joke says a lot about the game:

  • Huge crowds. The beach is packed with people of all body shapes, all moving at once. That is a heavy load for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S processors, and it fits what Rockstar showed in its trailers.
  • NPCs react to you. People on the beach respond with dialogue when Jason pushes, bumps or attacks them, and the victim reacts each time.
  • Small details. Footprints stay in the sand, and everyday actions like picking up after a dog are part of the world.
  • New ways to mess with people. The clip confirms you can pick up and throw everyday objects at NPCs.

GTA 6 has been a running joke all season

This is not South Park's first GTA 6 gag this season:

  • September 16, season premiere "South American Biker Gangs": characters keep repeating that things will get better in November, with GTA 6's launch as the punchline.
  • September 30: a joke about power cuts and losing your GTA 6 save.
  • October 14: a sign advertising the game appears during an election gag.

The October 28 episode is the first one with real gameplay from Rockstar. It is not known whether there is a marketing deal behind it, but Rockstar has used unusual places to show GTA 6 before, like its Netflix showcase.

The South Park clip is part of a busy final month for GTA 6:

  • A Game Informer cover story with new screenshots, more than 150 animal species, hurricanes and tropical storms.
