FpsGen publishes PC gaming guides, system requirements, news, reviews and free tools. This page explains how we write and check that content, where the numbers in our tools come from, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Every guide starts with the short answer, then the details. No filler to make an article longer.
Dates, prices, specs and requirements are checked against the official source before publishing. Each article lists its sources at the end.
Unconfirmed information is called a rumor or a leak in the text, never presented as fact.
We only give a review score when we have played the game. Review roundups that summarize other outlets have no FpsGen score and say so.
When requirements, prices or release dates change, we update the article and its "last checked" date.
Tools and comparison pages say when a number is an estimate and how it was calculated.
Our tools (Can I Run It, FPS Estimator,Bottleneck Calculator, Compare Hardwareand PC Price) all use the same data:
We use AI as a helper, not as a writer. It saves us time when we search for information and when we prepare a first draft. The real work is done by our team: choosing what to cover, playing the games, checking every fact against the sources listed in the article, writing the final text and approving it before it is published. AI is never used to invent quotes, review scores, benchmark results or hands-on impressions.
If you find a mistake, tell us on the contact page or atcontact@fpsgen.com. We check every report and fix confirmed errors as soon as we can. When a correction changes the meaning of an article, we update its date and say what changed.
